Children's Mental Health Therapist/CTSS
The Children's Mental Health Therapists help child and adolescent clients learn how to respond to challenging situations. CTSS Practitioners provide skills training for children/adolescents whose health, functioning & independence have been impacted by mental health symptoms. Hour requirements are flexible but should accommodate client scheduling needs. With children and adolescents, this may require some after school and weekend hours.

Mental Health Therapists must be able to provide psychotherapy and assessments to children under the age of 3 by successfully completing DC:0-03 training.
In addition to the above, Mental Health Therapists must meet one of the following qualifications. Please review these qualifications and do not apply if you do not meet one of these qualifying methods
a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW);
Accend offers a limited number of clinical traineeships. We accept clinical trainee applications from individuals who:
have completed a master’s degree or higher and are approved by the MN Board of Social Work to begin a clinical training placement as an LGSW.
