Overview

The Children & Families Team Leader is responsible for administrative and supervisory work in the coordination of the ARMHS, CTSS, EIDBI, psychotherapy, and targeted case management programs for our growing Children & Families team. This position works closely with the Clinical Lead, Program Director, and other leadership staff to provide effective guidance and support to team members on a daily basis. This role provides consistent instruction, support, and skills training to their team for the purpose of promoting recovery based services to our clients and their families.

Pay $49K-$56K annually, based on qualifications and experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide non-clinical supervision, consultation, and support to the Children & Families team.
  • Monitor and ensure timely response to new referrals for all services
  • Provide field observation, training, and mentoring for new and existing staff
  • Conduct staff evaluations, career development, and performance interventions
  • Review and approve assessments, authorize notes
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and provide pertinent input regarding client concerns, progress, etc.
  • Identify and problem-solve ways to improve work processes, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Meet with team members at regular intervals to review client progress and manage case-loads
  • Identify and problem solve barriers to treatment, client disengagement, and lack of treatment progress
  • Handle client complaints/concerns

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in one of the Behavioral Arts and Sciences
  • At least two year’s experience providing services to adults and children with mental illness, including ACT, IRT, ARMHS, CTSS, EIDBI, community mental health clinics, or other similar community mental health services
  • At least one year supervisory experience in health care/human services
  • Applied Behavior Analysis training and experience preferred
  • Training and experience working with individulas diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) preferred
  • Competence using a variety of electronic communication and health information management technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Training and experience in motivational interviewing
  • Public speaking and staff training
